Do you ever wonder why some people get sick and others don’t?
Or why some people suffer worse symptoms or a longer illness duration while some seem to bounce right back when they get sick?
These questions are especially heavy on our minds lately.
To shed some light on the answers to these questions for you, I’m going to share the vibrational frequency and basic facts of two theories: Germ Theory and Terrain Theory. You’ll see the critical impact these two paths have on your genes. Then, I will share 10 tips to live in alignment with Terrain Theory so you can support your immune system and enjoy a healthier, happier life!
This is not a supportive energy for the immune system. When the immune system is in a weakened state - we are more prone to illness.
What if I told you there is a community in Tanzania that is virtually untouched by disease or chronic conditions? They have been living a hunter-gatherer lifestyle for thousands of years. The grandparents in the community are just as fit and vital as their grandkids. They are some of the happiest, healthiest people on Earth.
When we tested the vibrational frequency of the Hazda Tribe’s collective immunity - it registered at 525! This is the level of love.
Here’s where things get interesting…
There are two theories we were spending time analyzing that tested at the exact same levels. Germ Theory, which aligns with how our public health system is currently run, tested at the frequency of 100 and Terrain Theory, which aligns with how the Hazda tribe lives, tested at 525.
Germ Theory: In 1861, the French chemist Louis Pasteur announced and popularized Germ Theory, proposing that germs were the cause of diseases. This paved the way for antibiotics (which kill both good and bad microorganisms in the body) and vaccines—which are created to prevent single diseases. The focus of this theory is avoiding or killing germs and viruses to prevent illness.
Terrain Theory: One of Louis Pasteur’s colleagues, psychologist Claude Bernard, developed a theory that the ‘terrain’ of the body determined how it would fare against a pathogen. A healthy, vital body would be resilient to germs and viruses or quickly recover after becoming ill. The focus of this theory is creating a healthy environment for the body to thrive.
Something that can be stated about both theories is that the way we live impacts us on a cellular level. It all comes down to epigenetics - the way your genes change in response to your environment.
It’s interesting to note, when talking about Germ Theory, the body is nowhere to be found. The focus is on the viruses and germs. The emphasis on the pathogens can become extremely isolating for us… literally. We must focus on prevention as far as washing our hands, sterilizing surfaces, avoiding contact with other people, and getting vaccinations. However, when prevention becomes the only focus and living life becomes secondary to a sterile environment - humans are unable to thrive for long.
It is important to be mindful of germs, practice prevention by washing your hands, and support public health by doing things like staying home when you are sick or covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze. However, it is just as important to think of your environment and how it impacts your body. Germ Theory alone would have us live in a bubble. Humans need to be out in the open air enjoying nature, socializing, and experiencing physical contact. In other words, we need a vibrant, healthy outer terrain to support a vibrant, healthy inner landscape. Preparing your body to fight off illness is the best long-term defense against illness.
I believe Terrain Theory has a lot of merit and if you can build a healthy inner terrain, you will have a robust immune system. Your inner terrain includes everything from your heart to your gut!
